While the text “Surulere” is imprinted at the lower back of the jersey.
The new star boy Jersey indicates the richness of African culture as exemplified in the uniqueness of Wizkid’s pop songs which is currently generating attraction from non-African countries.
The Wizkid’s partnership with Nike is something that business startup should consider. In Nigeria, it is noted that many musicians have their own clothing line, but the problem with these clothing lines is that they do not stand the test of time. One of the reasons is that it might take time for the audience to identify and trust the product.
Also, for a clothing line to really reach large audience, it would be wise to partner with brands that have large customer base.
